Refund and Returns Policy
This policy applies to purchases made from Nabantu Shop and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
1. Proof of Purchase
A valid receipt, invoice, or order number is required for all returns, refunds, or exchanges.
2. Defective or Unsafe Goods (Section 56 CPA)
Customers may return goods within 7 business day if the goods are defective, unsafe, or not of good quality.
The customer may choose:
- Replacement
- Refund
3. Incorrect Goods Supplied
If goods delivered do not match the order or description:
- The customer must notify Nabantu Shop within 48 hours of delivery
- Nabantu Shop will arrange collection
- A replacement or refund will be provided
4. Goods Damaged on Delivery
If goods are damaged on delivery:
- Damage must be reported within 48 hours
- Reasonable evidence may be required
- Nabantu Shop will arrange collection and replacement or refund
5. Change-of-Mind Returns
Returns for change of mind are at the supplier’s discretion and are not a legal requirement.
If accepted:
- Request must be made within 7 days of delivery
- Goods must be unused and in original packaging
- Return shipping may be at the customer’s cost
- A refund or store credit may be issued at the supplier’s discretion
6. Non-Returnable Goods
Unless defective, the following are not eligible for return:
- Custom-made or personalised goods
- Digital or downloadable products
- Perishable goods
- Hygiene-related goods once opened
- Goods marked as final sale
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds:
- Are issued to the original payment method
- May take 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider
8. Returns Procedure
To request a return:
- Contact the official Nabantu Shop support channel
- Provide proof of purchase and reason for return
- Follow the return instructions provided
9. Policy Amendments
This policy may be amended from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of purchase applies.
